Formats we can accept

We can accept artwork in TIFF, PDF and JPEG file formats.

Please export PDF artwork at 300dpi full size. If saving a JPEG or TIFF file, save full size at at least 300dpi, (preferably 600dpi).

We prefer your artwork in CMYK colour.
Most professional design packages have options for exporting in CMYK instead of RGB.  If you have used a package not normally used for design work to create your artwork, such as Microsoft Word or PowerPoint, you should still save and send it as a PDF.  When we receive this RGB PDF we will then apply a colour profile to it to change the colours from RGB to CMYK. This may change the colours slightly and may lead to them looking different on the pdf proof and final print.  As with all orders, we will send you a proof to approve before printing. For a little more detail about CMYK and RGB please see our blog post.

3mm Bleed

If colour, photos or text are being printed to the edge of the paper then please add minimum of 3mm bleed.

Bleed is when you extend colour, photos or text past the page edge of the page to allow for small discrepancies in the print and cut process, meaning that your design is printed past the edge and then trimmed.  Add this 3mm extra coverage to the artwork on all edges before saving as PDF, JPEG or TIFF.

Uploading your artwork

Once you have placed your order we will email you with confirmation and also a link to upload your artwork.

Posting your artwork

If you wish to send artwork by post please save to disc/memory stick and post to EWDP Ltd, 10 Paddock Ave, Leyland PR25 2SB. We are not able to return your disc/memory stick upon request.

Once we have your artwork we will email you a PDF proof to check and approve before printing.
