Social Enterprise

EWDP is a social enterprise. Our profits go to support young people and the communities in which they live.

Why a Social Enterprise?

Andy has been involved in Youth & Community work for over 8 years and has seen first hand the benefits of investing in young people.

The North West has some of the poorest communities in UK including an area of east Preston, where Andy has worked that is in the top poorest 5% in the country.

Many of the young people in these areas struggle with problems such as mental illness, depression, obesity, low educational achievement, teenage pregnancy, juvenile crime, addiction to tobaco and alcoho. These young people need lot's of support if they are to be loving, truthful, creative and responsible citizens who live out their potential and break the cycle of poverty and apathy that is all too often passed on from generation to generation.

Andy has seen how a network of caring adults in each local community can help young people into a better place.

There are many great charities in the North West who are seeing great results in the communities in which they are working including:

  • Fusion Youth & Community
  • PAIS
  • Urban Saints
  • Youth for Christ
  • The Message Trust
  • YWAM
  • Oasis
  • YKids name just a few.

EWDP seeks to be able to support all these charities and more through it's work - but it can only do that with your help.
